BITSAT (Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test) is an online computer-based entrance exam conducted by the Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani for admission to its Integrated First Degree programs. The exam is conducted in the month of May every year.

* The candidates who join in M.Sc. program are eligible to apply for the dual degree in Engineering at BITS Pilani after completion of the first year. What is the eligibility for BITSAT 2023?
For admission to all the Integrated First-Degree Programmes except B. Pharm. candidates should have passed the 12th class examination of the 10+2 system from a recognized Central or State board or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and adequate proficiency in English.
For admission to B. Pharm., candidates should have passed the 12th examination of the 10+2 system from a recognized Central or State board or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or Mathematics and adequate proficiency in English.
The candidate should have obtained a minimum of aggregate 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects (if he/she has taken Mathematics in BITSAT) or a minimum of aggregate 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology subjects (if he/she has taken Biology in BITSAT) in 12th class examination, with at least 60% marks in each of the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics / Biology subjects. Students who are appearing for the 12th class examination in 2022 or who have passed the 12th Examination in 2021 only are eligible to appear in the BITSAT-2022 test.
Students who have passed the 12th examination in 2020 or earlier are NOT eligible to appear in BITSAT2022. Students who are presently studying in BITS at any of its campuses are not eligible to appear in BITSAT-2022.

What is the Exam Pattern for BITSAT 2023?
BITSAT 2023 Entrance Exam Pattern:
Each Session of BITSAT 2023 will have 3 hours of duration (without break). The test consists of four parts:
Part I: Physics - 30 Questions
Part II: Chemistry - 30 Questions
Part III: (a) English Proficiency - 10 Questions (b) Logical Reasoning - 20 Questions
Part IV: Mathematics/Biology (For B.Pharm. Candidates) - 40 Questions
All questions are of objective type (Multiple Choice Questions); each question with a choice of four answers, and only one is the correct choice. Each correct answer fetches 3 marks, while each incorrect answer has a penalty of 1 mark (-1 mark). No marks are awarded for questions not attempted. While the candidate can skip a question, the computer will not allow the candidate to choose more than one option as the correct answer.
